(names were changed in this story, so that it is not guaranteed I get talked to about this lol) I go to English, the most boring class of the day. Mrs. McMay greets me at the door at makes me bump elbows with her, as always. I sit behind a girl I hate, Anne she bugs me. No, she's not some popular snob, just an annoying nerd that happens to be revolting. Next to me is a girl, that could be considered my friend, though she can be a little bit of a jerk, Autumn. On the other side is a popular girl who considers me invisible. For the most part I'm surrounded by people either I don't like, or they don't like me. Mrs. McMay tells us to open up the chapter book to page 88 and we read about bears and healing circles, I am bored. Finally the bell rings, but of course Mrs. McMay holds us back to finish reading a page.
At my locker books fall to my feet, as I try to remove my creative writing binder. "Shi-ooot" I say, there just happens to be a teacher behind me at that moment, thank god they didn't hear me. After shoving everything in to my chaotic locker I sprint down the steps and meet Mally, who was just about to leave me. Together we speed walk all the way across the school. The bell rings before we are in the classroom, but it doesn't matter because my favorite teacher, Mrs. Haney doesn't care if we're a little late. We talk about the start of a story and how it needs to intrigue a reader. Then she let's us go type our stories, Mally and I go behind the dividing wall and pick computers. Together we could be considered very talented writers, at least thats what she says. I guess compared to a few people, like Meg, we are. I had to read her story, and here's the whole thing.
Haley babysat the kids all the time, and she had to tonight. She was making macaroni when she thought she saw a dark figure at the door. She jumped, but then couldn't breath, so now she was getting pulled by her feet, and she didn't know why. She wanted to go get the kids. Finally she got away and ran up the stairs. "Go!!! Down stairs now!" she yelled. Haley dragged the kids down and shoved them out the door where she saw the dark figure then locked it. She felt bad. Then fell on the floor and saw the kids laughing with knives in their hands.
The End.
Compared to that I'd like to say we're a smidget better, even though it sounds self absorbed. Mally is an amazing writer though, her stories can make you cry. The bell for third period rings so we leave our favorite class. I go to P.E. and I think she's going to art. We play bad-mitten, and I can't serve nearly the whole time.
Ding! The bell again, I sort of trot to the locker room to go change, but then I remember thats unnecessary, for I have cross training afterward. So instead I goof off in the gym with Hally B. But the he walks in, and of course I have to take a short cut through the locker room to go see him, even though he never really talks to me. He's so dark, kind of the cliché bad boy. He walks right by me, but I catch his eye. Hally finds me, telling me that she lost track of me, but that it's okay.
Cross training is pain staking, I run 1.5 miles, and bike 4.3 miles in thirty minutes. Finally I head to social studies.
By now my stomach is growling with every step I take. "Shut up!" I mumble to it, not that it can hear me. Mr. K greets me at the doorway, and I take a seat, my assigned seat next to a bunch of people that I'm like an insignificant fly to. The class flys by, and he let's platinum people go, 4.0 gpa kids. So I get up and go, because I've maintained that average all year.
