"Stop! Please! Leave me alone!" Mel screams in agony, their words stinging the air, and their actions killing her. And for the first time, they do. They leave her, leave her on the floor, broken.
Her blood draining from her as she lay there. Stones covering her body, sticks stuck within her, poisoning her blood. Their words still shooting through the air, trying to strike her yet again. Her eyes swollen with tears. Nothing left for her to live for, being torn down from the inside out. Her heart ripped from her and yanked apart. Her body throbbing, swelling up with pain and hurt. Tears slide down her cheeks, plummeting to the disgusting cement under her back. Rocks digging in to her pale flesh, and the color gone from her sunken face. Her body mangled, and her ashamed thoughts clouding her judgement on the situation of pain and dread. She thinks back to how things started, how could she have been so stupid?
