Sometimes when I'm confused, Or my mind's completely blank, I go outside, take in the air And sit on the river bank.

I'll watch the fish all swim, Carp, Trout, Koi and Pike, At the end of the river, I wonder what it's like.

I sit beneath the trees, And think about it all, Rustling the branches, And watching leaves fall.

When the river sprays, Drops of water shine, Scattered all around, Never in a line.

With the river's beauty, A broken heart can mend. One day I will sail, Just beyond the river bend.
