What happened to you and me?
We were best friends at some point.
Do you still have the memories?
Why don't you grasp that I need someone to talk to?
Why is it that we can't talk
The way we used to?
Has something happened since I moved?
I'm sorry I left you
I'm sorry I'm thousands of miles away.
But it's not like you asked me to stay.
Leaving was for the best, I hope some day you'll see
Maybe it wasn't good for you, but it's helping me
If you were my friend, I thought you'd at least understand
If I'd stayed where I was
I may never have escaped his hand
I hope one day we can be how we used to be
But until then, I guess we'll only be a memory.
