Fuck Average Chapter 7

"Yes" Crystal responded in an awkward way, Lachlan went red. He hid his redness and said "Cool, see you at class"
A few minutes later they were in class with there heads down. Lachlan was thinking about how not so average it was to have a girlfriend, he was finally making the change he was wanting.
Lachlan looked up and handed in his work, the teacher then said "It's all wrong, Lachlan, it's all wrong" Lachlan was a straight A student, did girls make him stupid?
The bell rang and Lachlan was devastated, he went to sit with Dayne, he was sitting with his friends, all his friends were assholes.
Lachlan looked towards Crystal's table, she was sitting with her friends, Lachlan looked away and then he sat at a random table, there was a lonely kid their and he was skinny, had medium black hair that covered the left half of his face, he had blue eyes, Lachlan asked the lonely kid what his name was "Ace" he responded "Cool name" Lachlan responded. "What kind of music do you like" Ace had tried to start a conversation "Rock, hip hop, rap and some pop"
"Same" Ace responded happily, "Do you play any video games?" I asked
"I play Tf2, portal, borderlands, cod, half life, infamous and a lot more" he laughed
"I play most of them too" I responded, the bell rang.
They had to go to class. They guessed they'd see each other when they saw each other.
In most classes kids would talk and mess around instead of work, but this one was a little different, people were working, it was like they were interested in the work. That class felt like it was years and when it finally ended Lachlan was relieved. It was time for math class and Dayne came over to Lachlan and congratulated him in his new girlfriend. "Who's your girlfriend?" Lachlan asked "What girlfriend?" Lachlan looked startled and he gave him the look, like he knew he was lying "That's the truth" he continued "I haven't had a girlfriend for a few years, there's no one who feels right, if you know what I mean."
"Ahh" Lachlan understood now, it all made sense, Dayne had been through a bad break up.
"Due what happened?"
"Well we were caught almost making out in my bed by my dad and she spazzed out and hit my dad and me, she then took my dad for a child abuse that never happened and then I hit her, she was a real bitch, I also then found out she was cheating on me, 2 days before we almost made out" Dayne stopped and looked down.
"Sorry for making you say that, that's harsh though"
"Yeah"
The rest of class was silent, the end of school bell rang and this afternoon he walked Crystal home, he gave her a quick peck on the cheek and left.
