Chapter 29

I take a seat at a table waiting for Ashley. We decided to meet at a food court. I look turn my head to look for Ashley. Where is she?
"Emma!"
I turn my head back and see her running over.
"Hey Ashley!"
She sits down across from and places her bag on the table.
"Let's go get some food. I'm starving!" I say as my stomach grumbles.
We head over to the sub shop and wait in line. I look around and see if anyone I know is here. I see about ten people. When it's out turn to order, we tell the cashier exactly what we want. She gives us our food and we pay. We walk back to our table and start unwrapping our subs.
"So, how's it going?" Ashley asks.
"Terrible. Cassie is now dating Josh."
"Seriously?! That hopefully won't last long. Speaking of dating, are you and Connor still going out?"
Oh crap! I totally forgot about him.
"Yeah. I haven't really talked to him at all."
"We'll nows your chance."
"What do you mean?"
She points to something behind me. I turn around and try to spot out what she is pointing at.
Dang it! Connor is here.
He waves at me and I wave back.
"Now's your chance! Go break up with him," Ashley whispers.
I turn my head towards her and give her a worried look. She just smiles and nods. Oh good grief. I turn away and start walking over to Connor.
He signals his friends to go away. I cross my fingers and hope that everything will be okay.
"Hey Connor," I say with a somewhat worried tone.
"Hey babe."
He doesn't even know my name! Wtf?!
"Um. I kinda need to tell you something."
"What is it?"
"I'm, breaking, up with you."
He didn't really looked shocked.
"What?"
"I'm sorry. It's just not working out."
"Okay. Well I was gonna break up with you too. Well bye."
"Okay...? Bye?"
He turns around and walks away. Well that was....awkward?
I turn away and walk back over I Ashley.
"Hey Emma. What happened?"
"I broke up with hi and then he said he was gonna break up with me."
"Oh. Okay then."
We start to eat. When we finish we go to throw out our garbage.
Someone shouts our name and I turn around. Oh no.
