Paul had me walk him to his art class again, waiting outside of my own singing class door. I was still giddy from Jason's unexpected hug, and excitedly retold the entire story.
"Wow," Paul said, eyebrows raised.
"I know!" I giggled, almost tripping on the stairs with bliss.
Suddenly, his arm was around me too.
"What are you doing?" I shrieked, pulling away from him.
He laughed, saying something, but I really don't remember what it was.
Surprised and a bit confused, I didn't walk too close to him after that.
Then, I saw Jason, on his way to art class.
He saw me too, and smiled brightly.
"Hey," I smiled back, and Paul and I kept walking.
But Paul hadn't seen Jason's smile.
"Rejected!" He cried, grinning at me triumphantly.
"Um, no," I said, frowning at him. "He actually smiled at me first."
"Oh."
And then I decided to leave him...I had to get to class anyway.
And he was acting weird.

Writing is my life. Forever. I want to be an author when I grow up. I write all the time. When I'm happy, sad, angry...it's an escape. Oh, and I love green hearts. I absolutely love them.
