Adeline Runs Away VII

The screaming stopped. I waited head against the door, listening intently. The screaming. Stopped. I continued listening until the door flung open of course. I stumbled backwards a few steps and the door revealed a girl somewhat older than I was turning to stone. She was completely stone a few seconds later. I tried not to blink. But I did, nothing happened. The doctor and Cecelia were there. Cecelia could actually go a long amount of time without blinking. That left the doctor and I to do the work. "Cecelia, don't blink." She nodded and I began to walk in the room, the doctor close behind. "Don't look in their eyes, got it." I said to Cecelia. She nodded again and looked at their face I guess. I couldn't tell. We got to the door on the other side of the room and I signaled Cecelia to walk over. She came and we slowly opened the door, Cecelia's eyes on the statues. We walked through the door and found an empty room. The doctor locked the door behind us.
The room was empty. I looked around. There were three other doors. I checked them. They all had numbers. I squinted my eyes and pushed my glasses into place. I looked at the door on the left. "737." I repeated off the door. I did the same with the others. 427 and 981. I looked to the doctor. He shrugged and I looked at them again. One door looked like there was blood dripping out. The other smelled like sulfur. And another had a giant blue dot. "4 of the senses." I said looking around. "Than where's the fifth?" I asked myself.
The doctor smiled. "Amazing isn't she?" He muttered to Cecelia. She nodded with a smile.
I sat on the ground. I felt around the floor. Until I found a rough spot. The floor started to open from a corner. "Oops. Told you I'm clumsy." I said just before I fell beneath the floor. The doctor and Cecelia following. I heard the high pitched scream of Cecelia and rolled my eyes.
I landed roughly on a somewhat padded floor. I rubbed my head and stood up. "Guys?" I asked looking around. They walked into the little light that we had. I let out a sigh of relief and pulled out my flashlight. I pressed the button and light flashed on the angry faces of weeping angels. I let out a yelp and dropped the flashlight. "Cecelia–" I began.
"Got it." She finished. I took the flashlight and held it up to their now sad expressions. I let out another relieved 'phew' and began to inch around and in between the statues. Another one of the ghostly beings appeared and returned our things. I nodded as the thing –curator– said "Welcome to the library of Alexandria." And wandered off. I opened a book that had been returned. And read. "I have an idea." I said slamming the book shut and began leading them through the maze of weeping angels.

@wannabewriter

I am a total fangirl. If you follow me you might notice some fan-fiction and some straight out, original stories. I really like writing, but I'm not sure I wanna be a writer when I grow up, turning 11 in September, who has two thumbs and deserves a letter from Hogwarts? Anyways, I hope you have a great time reading my stories! Motto: Love, be loved or occasionally dislike ;D P.S. I follow back! <3
