There's a little tiny mouse, That scampers round my house, With a little tiny walnut on its head; And from a tiny wire, It has fashioned eye attire, And it rides around upon a toy mo-ped.

My cat saw this mousey felon, Made a helmet from a melon, And some goggles from Some plastic bottle lids; And jumping on a hoover, With some skill it did manoeuvre, To pursue the squeaky rodent with some skids.

Down the hallway they did race, Up through the kitchen went the chase, Past the cooker, through the stools and back again; With a look of grim determine, The Cat side-swiped the vermin, And it flew right through an open window pane.

A sorry end indeed, But not completely I concede, For the next day he was back, The Mousey Rider; He enjoyed the thrilling race, With The Cat in rapid chase, So they've now moved on to An airplane and a glider.
