There's a song by the Dixie Chicks, I think it's called Travelin' Soldier. So. sad. The soldier she loved died in Vietnam. The saddest part is when she says "The soldiers coming home." ( they send a letter to tell someone the soldier has died, and they bring the person "Home." thus, the soldier is "coming home" )

And at a football game they announce a different soldiers death and a "piccolo player in the marching band" is crying but no one cares except the singer cuz she understands.

I actually got really teary, it's so sad.
