The day before he arrived life was predictable and safe but now his cowered image now puts a frown upon her face the rabbit-boy with floppy ears covering his eyes his puckered red mouth open in suprise his short nose wrinkles pink against grey cold and he hops as a rabbit does back to where he's holed.
the adults see a different picture: they see a refugee the ears are bandages for he can no longer see a gaping hole, once a leg littered with dust his grey little mouth is smeared with hisblood.
How fortunate is it that children see the world in rose tint that when the green men come, they think no worse of it. why did those evil men decide to make prey of the little girl who saw a rabbit on a summers day?
