Past And The Future

I am the past and the future.
I wonder whether people ever wanted to go back to the past,
And change whatever they regret.
I hear cries and laughter,
I see curiosity is people's minds.
I want the future to be filled with happiness,
I am the past and the future.

I pretend that sadness was never really there,
I feel the stress around everyone.
I touch the warmth from the soul,
I worry that depression would take over the world.
I cry to the fact that people are so cruel;
I am the past and the future.

I understand why people are aggressive,
But really,
I say we should just try to cool things down.
I dream of world unity,
I try to make things right,
I hope to learn from the history.
