We meddle in affairs that do not concern us. Politicians, governments et al, heavily influenced by big buck donations from business conglomerates, and totally influenced by popularity polls beat their brows about anything untoward happening in far off places.
We should not be in any other country but our own.
So what if foreign powers are not concerned with their people's welfare or rights - we too were in that boat not too many centuries ago. Let's leave them to develop in their own way.
Meddling in other countries affairs will ultimately be our undoing.
People have long memories. We should foster good relationships with all our neighbours, just as we do in our homes. And, finally, when will we learn that it doesn't matter what labels people have, black, white, Muslim, Asian, it is just not important.
This is just my view.
