Sarnies and biscuits, Jam cake and cream, Lemonade drinkies, And all in between. Children are laughing, And playing about, And this is what Afternoon Teas are about.
Sunshine and sing-songs, Hide and seek play, This is what makes up, Our happiness day, Tired and worn out And sumptuously fed, Our toddlers and children, Go happily to bed.
