Oh that I wouldst surely be,
An honest feline such as thee,
With grace and beauty gifted thus,
I surely would inspire Opuss,
And Poets therein would aspire,
My being thus to those inspire,
To greater efforts scribe to meet,
This task so put upon them beat,
But in their midst I'd lie unhindered,
Uncaring of the words so rendered,
For such the nature of a cat,
Wouldst sleep and purr upon thy mat.
