Now when I was just a nipper,

It was really cool to smoke,

Everybody did it even doctors (it's no joke),

They'd sell em off to kiddies,

In shops and everywhere,

And you could smoke just when you wanted,

Any bleedin' where.

They used to smoke in cinemas,

And restaurants and bars,

And no-one turned their nose up,

'Cos them ciggies was no harm,

And so I started smoking, It just was the thing to do.

The TV adverts of the time said it was good for you.

Now here I am much later,

You could say that I'm dead,

But is it really my fault when it was so encouraged then?

I know we all have choices,

And you'd be right to say,

That I'm a bleedin' idiot for smoking anyway,

But like every single story,

There's another side to see,

People are just people and it's very plain to me,

Advertising everywhere,

Especially on TV,

Is like a form of hypnotism, that's aimed at you and me,

These days I'm still trying,

To quit the evil weed,

It really is a killer and it's slowly getting me,

But I knows how to fight it,

(A shame that it's too late),

And that's by telling everybody NO FAGS ON YOUR PLATE,

Don't listen to the others when they pass around the pack,

Don't hang around with others when they're smoking 'round the back,

Say NO to craggy faggers when they're shoved right in your face,

The bestest way to stop is not to start in the first place.
