I am working on a server that will be public and (hopefully) be online all of the time! I say hopefully because I have a mother and father, and they're not so keen on keeping servers open all of the time - I'll try an undercover operation :)
The server will be run on either Tekkit or Bukkit - hopefully Tekkit. I will probably get a static IP address so I don't have to write more posts with changed IPs as their content. I will install some pretty epic plugins too, for the fun of it :D
Now I have a proposition. @Hazzy16 will be a semi-admin (like an admin, but with a little less access to commands) on the server, as long as I can get the software working properly. But the question is, who else?
The first 2 people to give me their Minecraft username will become the other semi-admins on the server! Once done, I will agree with these people a time to come on the server and you can log yourselves in - I will hopefully have made you a semi-admin by then. Try a bit of chat, see what comes up, and if you have the prefix 'Semi-Admin' you're all sorted! If not, I'll do it as soon as I can, then ask if you can check it yourself at another agreed time.
I'll also need some moderators for the server - that's the next 5 people to comment with their Minecraft usernames. The check that it worked will be the same as above.
I myself will probably pop on every Sunday to check the goings-on. So if you need to contact me but it's not urgent, head to the server on a Sunday and keep Opuss open to see if I'm on. If contact is urgent, write a quick post explaining the problem and use some sort of way for me to notice it (eg. comment on it with @Zorua101).
That's all for now, so I hope all of you Minecrafters on Opuss will take hold of this advantage! You may even become rather well-known on YouTube! Why? My friends and I are starting a Minecraft video series, hoping it will get big! :D
