Another reason why not to go on Hardcore mode - and it still involves creepers!

I was exploring a cave that was pretty deep down in the world (around diamond level, to be exact), and saw a creeper approaching me from the darker recesses of the side of the cave that I had not lit yet with my torches. It hissed.

I leapt out of the way just as it exploded, and I was left unharmed. And you would not believe what the creeper explosion revealed. A ton of diamonds - literally, about 14 diamond ore all in one place.

I was hardly able to contain my excitement, jumping down to mine the rare treasure.

Then a Huge Slime decided it was time to bounce on my head.

I lost EVERYTHING!!! :O
