I was in an English grammar lesson, learning about 'Loose English' or something along those lines. There was a picture in it of a person pushing against a door - the sentence for it read something like: 'He could not force the door open though he tried'.
The funny thing was, he was pushing against a door with a handle on the side he pushing and the hinges were visible on that side too, indicating that it was certain the door was to be opened by pulling it.
*Throws textbook across room and nets a perfect 10 into the bin*
