Feel the cool drops
As they touch our skin
How they dampen our clothes
And make them stick
Refreshing drops of water fall
From heavy clouds who wait to burst
See before you feel
Hear before you see
They turn parched into refreshed
Drylands to swamps
Withering flowers turning to dust
With a tear drop of life they turn plump
My tears disappear as they caress my bare skin
Their touch is cold but warms my heart
They run my pain down my body
Disappearing in the ground
In its place a tulip will grow
The rain falls from heaven
As a cleansing water
The tear drops of lord
As he watches us destroy ourselves
My rain is my saving grace
Listen to the drumming as it clears your heart
And settles your minds chaos
This rain washes away pain
That this new world brings
This rain is needed to be heard
For its our savior
