Two Seasons

Hot summer days
Sweat drips
And not a cloud in sight
A glass of lemonade
Make it cold
With five ice cubes
A slice of watermelon
And chile powder on the side
Sandals on my feet
My toes a glittery yellow
A summer dress on
White with yellow flowers
The grass is tall and green
Slowly turning gold
As the days grow cold
The nights rule over day
Making me stay inside
With a hot cocoa and a blanket
By the fire place
As snow pounds against my door
Trying to seep it's coldness in
I slowly drift off to sleep
As the season change in a blink

In The Forest

In the forest when I look at the sky, it looks like a five year old scribbled black ink over the azure sky.

Nature Sensed

@Emma_33 #poem. I sat and watched. As a spider spun its web of beauty. The most wonderful sight. I'm ever likely to see. I laid and listened. As the thunder roared and the rain crashed down.

Night

Slowly creeping. On the horizon. Following the sun. Turning light. Into darkness. A new time. A new world unseen. Deadly creatures come. Glowing flowers bloom. I'm the dead of night.

The Circle Of Lives

Golden hued leaves fall graciously to the ground. All the little squirrels stop and turn transfixed to the sound. Pollen lost from the legs of bees coat the glistening floor.

Willow Tree

Willow willow tree. Your hairlike branches sway. Tickling my nose. And making me sneeze. Willow willow tree. Your soft rasping. As your branches touch. Are a lullaby to my ears. Willow willow tree.

Awake With Morning Song

As the sunbeams. Tickle my eyelids awake. I lie in contented bliss. A look out the window I peep. To see where on the ground the sun does kiss. The breeze blows the trees. Leaves dance under a bush.
