"Jordan! Jordan! Jordan!"
I spun on my heels, looking to see who called my name.
"JORDANJORDANJORDANJORDANJORDAN-"
I sighed. "Whhaaat?"
My friend Katy stood, grinning, a mischievous look on her face. "Hey."
I laughed. "Katy, I'm late. Give me my keys."
She pursed her lips innocently. "Keys....? What keys?"
I ran my hand through my short brown hair. "Katy. I'm late for work, please."
She pouted and tossed me my keys. "You aren't any fun anymore."
I chuckled. "I'll see you at graduation."
As I got into my car, I couldn't help but think, wow. I'd finally finished highschool. I couldn't get that out of my head. And I was able to stay focused on school and stay away from sports or girls or prom long enough that I was valedictorian. Well. I did go to Senior Prom, with a girl, but I stepped on her foot during out first and only dance an she disappeared the rest of the night. I pulled into a parking space and quickly pulled off my shirt, replacing it with my work shirt, and tied a tie quickly around my neck. I was already wearing black pants, and they were identical to my work pants, so I didn't bother changing them.
I got out of my car, locked it, whistling, when I saw something that made me freeze completely.
