After suffering through all of my classes, it was time for lunch. I rushed to my locker, eager to get my lunch and see Zayden. When I entered the lunch room I sat down in our usual spot and wait. Zayden was sitting with a group of his guy friends. He was kind of popular so he had a lot of "friends". I watched his eyes darted from his friend to me. A smile spread across his face as he rose from he seat and walked over to where I was sitting. He stopped in front of me. I looked at him, waiting for him to say something. "May I?," he asked. I giggled obnoxiously and nodded my head. I took a bite of my sandwich. "So, how's your day been?," I asked him. "Eh, so far so good," he said slightly nodding his head in approval. "Well that's great," I said smiling. We both went quiet. Usually this would bother most people but with Zayden, it didn't matter. It's almost like he understands. I looked up at him. I was almost finished with my sandwich when be broke out of his trance. "Nice of you to join me for the last few seconds of lunch," I said laughing. He just smiled. "I'm sorry," he apologised, "I've just... Something doesn't feel right," he said. I looked at him, wondering what it was that didn't feel right. "Oh, I'm sorry," I said frowning. The bell that dismisses us from lunch rang and we got up and left. I only had one more class after lunch and it drug by so slow. Finally school was over and I was standing out by Zayden's truck, patiently waiting for him to get out. I watched as he exited the building and made his way over to his truck. When he saw me waiting he smiled. "I'll drop you off at your house and come back for you when it's game time," he said, hopping in his truck. "Seems legit," I said.
