"haha! I beat you Rosie-wosie!" I teased.
"Shut up or you'll die" she retorted jokingly.
We lay down on the soft grass and ate our snack.
"So, what do you think this means Rose?" I whispered.
"hrmmrhmprh!" she waved her hand signaling she was still chewing.
I laughed at her, as friends do. "Well," she started off,"There's sonething about you that's different to the other girls that he likes, I bet one of the reasons is probably he likes how you're not clamoring for his attention and flirting with him like all the other girls.
Casey," she explained, "You're sweet, humble and no where near full of yourself, you're beautiful. If he ever dares to hurt you he's gotta get past me!" she giggle playfully punching the air. "Aww,Thanks rose, you know what? You're the bestest!" I managed to say.
"Oi! Stop making me blush " she giggled And gently nudged me.

"Oh Casey!!! I have the greatest news!!!" squealed rose. "What?? What is it?!" I squealed in reply.
"nothing! Just kidding " she teased. "XD I hate you!"I laughed not seriously meaning what I said. Rose began to fake cry, and then burst out laughing and so did I.

ding dong ding dong*
"Aww" we both sighed.
We helped each other up and brushed ourselves off, our bodies left an imprint on the grass.

We slowly trudged back to our lockers, stopping at Roses first. We hugged each other "Guess I'll see ya at lunch.. Wish I was in your class man" I sighed to Rose. "Likewise" agreed Rose. Miss Gígí approached us, "Hurry to class now Casey" she instructed. I obeyed but while leaving looked at rose puzzled, she shrugged in return looking surprised.

I gathered my history books and science books, not looking forward to the lessons I had to endure.
Again I wasn't paying attention, which I should have been.. But I let my mind wander.. About the new guy... So charming, and yet I didn't know his name...

I 'woke up' as you could put it, to everyone leaving for science. Extremely quickly I picked up my books got ours from my desk, pushed my chair in and ran to catch up with the line.
