Mirror

@MelchiorJ13

I've been looking in the mirror,
Wondering who I am.
An eagle soaring high,
An innocent little lamb?
The thoughts that will reside
In my head are always there
The mirror girl is not me,
But do I really care?
Individuality is me,
Never another copy.
Living free and full of will,
What if there is a photocopy?
What if somewhere on the Earth someone looks like me?
And only this mirror has the knowledge and the key.
Why are all these questions as complex as they can be?
Looking in the mirror, they come flooding back to me.

Home

We use the word home a bit too freely. So I ask myself where is my home really. Is it the house I grew up in, soon to be left behind. Or is it the one I'll move into when its my time.
