No Better

It's when you realise you're nothing
Vague, pointless, indistinct, grey and empty
No better than the man arranging melons in a supermarket into neat rows, 4x4
No better than the ticket inspector patrolling off peak carriages, twiddling a biro
No better than the garbage man luminous in the daybreak fondling dustbins in the mist
No better than the GP grumbling anti smoking propaganda lining his pocket with your death and penicillin
No better than the whore scraping worn heels on worn pavement in the neon light of a London suburb searching for a stoic fix
No better than the gambler or the rapist or worse the banker seeking solace in their dirty, candid lies
No better than the pig eating shit swallowing mouthful after mouthful
Only ceasing to breathe

No better than nothing
No better than anything

It's when you realise you are nothing the world crawls around you

And tells you that you're home

Ingenuity

Can you tell the truth from a lie. Is there a difference between fake tears and a genuine cry. A smile is just a frown, You're all looking at it upside down. Don't kid yourself, Nothing is real.

Light

Ever felt like the light is too bright, a happiness so filling you beg for it to stop. An inception of evils' demise that saddens your heart, A world peace that tears your heart.

It's not that we are nothing more like everything is something just as much as you are

We are nothin in the grand scheme of things, each of us is unimportant, yet we all think we are great.

Cheers for commenting - peace

It's like Socrates said, 'all I know, is that I know nothing.' there is so

Mething great about realising you aren't great, amazing or awe inspiring. You are just you and that is all you can and will be
