Can you tell the truth from a lie?
Is there a difference between fake tears and a genuine cry?
A smile is just a frown,
You're all looking at it upside down.

Don't kid yourself,
Nothing is real.

Don't believe a smile,
Nor a person when they tell you how they really feel,
For nothing is real.

Truth hides behind sealed lips,
Lips that can't even give a genuine kiss
The action is detached from the heart,
We all know we're going to end up hurt since the start.
But we all want love,
So we sacrifice our heart.

We risk our heart by chasing our dreams,
But dreamers's dreams die
Because the world is so full of lies,
That the world goes and hides
The successes of dreamers's dreams
And instead gives the dreamers a broom with which to clean,
The world.
Minimum wage is all they earn for eternity.

These liars at least know that the world is dirty,
But still, nothing is real.

Hugs can only do so much to heal
So the dreamers turned mopers often have to steal,
Happiness.
And the stealers steal and sell it,
The whole business is madness.

Nothing is real.

Light is just a bright darkness
Maybe if we can climb this mountain the farthest
We'll win a prize,
But we all know the prizes are gone,
The mopers stole them,
The stealers sold them.

No one is real.
