Jerk

I knew something was wrong,
Before I saw the tears.
Your face was all crooked,
But not beyond repair.

I didn't have to ask,
To know what had happened.
Your boyfriend was a jerk,
Now you feel forgotten.

You've gone through challenges,
And this is just my first.
Calming you down for now,
Is probably the worst.

You say, "I still love him!"
"It's time to let him go."
sniff "Why would he do that?"
"He's a cheater- He's long ago."

Finally you calm down,
Thinking you're awesome while single.
Try to stay strong, for now,
I'll try to get you to giggle.

I have a class with him-
He is such a disgrace-
Better watch out, though;
He broke your heart- I'll break his face.
