Indigo sky starts to fade.
The black grass turns to light jade.
Pink wisps start to form
As the world transforms.
Little birdies start to peep
Sneaky owls fall asleep.
You and I stretch and yawn,
Don't you just love early dawn?
Swirls of purple and orange,
Do you hear the choir's chorus?
A glowing orb slides right up,
Shines over all the shrubs.
Casts some faint light on us,
Doesn't try to impress.
As the chickens start to crow,
Open curtains and say hello.
