The old man sits,
In a lonely room,
Empty inside,
Never a groom,
On his chair,
He watches tv,
No one to love,
Nowhere to be,
Decisions he took,
Choices he made,
The path he trod,
Games he played,
All these things,
Have left him alone,
Hoping for contact,
Watching the phone,
Pain in his chest,
His stomach churns,
Vacant eyes,
His heart yearns,
No soul mate beside,
No one to hold,
No dreams to excite,
No child to mould,
A woman he knew,
The love of his life,
Treated him badly,
Wouldn't be his wife,
We all have hopes,
I want you to see,
That my biggest fear,
Is that one day, this man is me.

@Augustus
I'll probably never grow up and I'll definitely keep making mistakes in life. So I may as well enjoy it!
