Across the other side of the square, a wereman stands watching the fountain ooze dark water. He's shaking his head at the sight.
"Such a sorry sight" He says as the body is dragged out of the fountain.
"Always the humans" His friend, a young giant, replies.
"And such a shame, Mosrus" The wereman says to the teenage giant by his side.
"Why don't they leave them alone and then maybe they'll leave us alone" Mosrus says.
"I doubt that, I doubt very much, my dear friend" The wereman says wishing it were true.
"We must leave" Mosrus adds then they both walk away from the square.
"We must find the girl and bring her back" The wereman whispers. Mosrus nods then smiles. They both know what is to come next.
