Birds Of A Feather (continued)

"FELIX!" screeched Flo. A figure appeared from behind the rose bush. It was the Prince. "Princess." he bowed to her then made his way towards Felix who was lying on the ground, covered in dirt. The Prince took his sword from his belt and held it at his throat. Flo ran over to them shouting for the Prince to stop. He didn't listen. She lifted the hem of her dress and took a dagger from her stocking. "I said leave him alone!" she snarled. She was about to slash at his back when his hand crossed her cheek. Her head connected to the ground. Felix finally woke up from his crash with the tree to find the Prince staring down the sword at him. "Who the hell do you think you are?" he yelled.
"I'm Prince Henry of Terran!" he said with a sarcastic tone. Felix snapped. He grabbed the end of the sword, which cut into his palm, and took it from him. The Prince stepped back in shock. "Why don't you just leave me alone!" ordered Felix.
"Only if you stay away from my fiancé." he compromised with a devilish grin. This infuriated Felix even more and he lunged at the Prince with the sword. Somehow he dodged it effortlessly. Flo watched, she felt an aching in her stomach and the path seemed to swirl in front of her. Felix was in a losing battle but still he would not give up. He was tossed around several times and had gashes up and down his arms. "Just give up!" sneered Henry.
Felix narrowed his eyes and muttered under his breath "Never."
He made his final attack at the Prince which he dodged again and gave up with tiredness. He fell to the ground, next to Flo who had passed out. Henry ran off with cowardliness. Felix sat once he had left and tried to wake her up. She didn't. He could see her breathing so he picked her up and carried her down the path. He went through a small corridor which led them straight up to Flo's bedroom.

Flo tossed and turned in her sleep. She dreamed of the fight. She couldn't remember it but somehow her subconscious did. Suddenly there was a loud crash at her glass balcony doors. It woke her up and she looked outside. A hawk, it's wings out-stretched. It's feathers slightly covered in blood. She felt sorry for the poor bird but didn't think to help it. She just closed the velvety curtains and went back to bed. The silk bedsheets wrapped round her tightly. She drifted back into her dream world. Finally she was having better dreams.

Her peaceful sleep was broken by the feeling of something watching her. The 'something' grabbed her hand. She opened her eyes and two crystal blue eyes were looking back at her. She was about to shout his name but Felix put his hand over her mouth. The shout was then a muffle. He lowered his hand from her mouth. "When I went back to the Ball.." he started "Everyone had been looking for you. The Prince showed up and announced that you and him were to be married tomorrow."
Flo could feel the tears in her eyes and she rolled off the bed, into Felix's arms. She cried into his shoulder. "I don't want to." she mumbled over and over again. Felix was shocked but soon began to comfort her. "How did you get in here without people seeing you?" she finally looked up from his shoulder. He pointed at the open balcony door. She giggled through tears. He looked down at her with a serious look on his face and she stopped giggling. "I have to go now." he said coldly. He stood up and walked towards the window, closely followed by Flo.
