I'll make myself a burrow,
And curl up in a ball,
Where nothing except me and my thoughts,
Really matters at all,
I'll block out all the shouting,
The violence on the news,
Letting the warmth wash over me,
In a world where I can't lose,
And though it's all still happening,
Yes, I can't always smile,
But in my little burrow,
I can forget it for a while.
