I don't read papers at all I flick in and out of the news, in the mornings. Ignorance is definitely bliss

Well said babe! I avoid papers and news these days! Too much bollocks and usually all fabricated or exaggerated and too many long words in the posh papers for me and they too big. I do miss page 3 tho Lmfao 😜😂😂😂💋

I soooooooooo get this Hun ....I feel exactly the same...I try to dip into the news as it depresses me....the world seems crazy, vile and weak!!...the other day we were watching something about a guy who is no 1 in the charts...cheesy song...but it's a YouTube sensation etc...I said to hubby you know what though its refreshing to see something so silly and fun, he's made a fortune from his silliness, there is sooooo much shite going on in the world....why bloody not have some fun!!...a great write lovely lady 👏👏👏💛💛💛💛

@eddie12309 I think this is superb, well written and thoughtful!! I don't watch the news and I don't read the papers. Anything I need to know I find out about anyway! It is only such a small part of what happens in the world. Most of the things I hear about are stories of love, courage, friendship and joy. People amaze me with their wisdom on a daily basis! Where are these stories in our media???? ✨🌟✨🌟

@sleepydragon indeed , where are these stories? There's a programme I saw once, pride of Britain, I think. Why ate these stories not making the headlines when they happen. No wonder our children have very little to inspire them with the dross that's on tv and magazines. Oh dear I'm ranting. 😘
