A Letter From Me To You

I wrote a letter to express my love,
Ill care for you dearly even if I am doing so from above,
I wrote these words in hope you'd never read them,
But what did we expect when I entered this battle field of utter mayhem.

I made a choice,
And now that I'm gone you can rejoice,
For my death was not made in vain,
I done this so you could live you life free from pain.

I understand why you will be angry with me,
I left you alone and afraid-but please hear my plea,
Although I may have been forced to depart,
You'll always have a special place in my heart,
So go and live a full and happy life,
I want nothing but the best for you-my loving wife.

When I laid there beside you, Could you feel me there. My arms were wrapped around you, And I was stroking your hair. I was talking about all the good times, For me they were every single day.
