Improv Challenge #sixwords set by @naaviie
She knew her fragile bones,
Of how they've grown diseased
She looked into the MIRROR,
Hoping for a fragment,
A form of some RELEASE.
Rested upon the widow's chest
Was her husband's enveloped LETTER.
She had spent ten years waiting, depressed
Recalling FRICTION to all that didn't matter.
It was but now that 'courage',
Had climbed up the widow's peak
As she tore open the letter,
Her tears began to leak.
In it, it said,
"You are my DRIFTWOOD
Carefree but strong.
My missing JIGSAW piece
To this life of song.
You will always be the love of my life,
My sweet, loving wife."
