11:11 Chapter 11

It's Sunday. Personally, I don't like Sundays because they remind you that you have school tomorrow.. I'm not a very big fan of school, but I'm a pretty good student. But at least there was one good thing about today. Aunt Rotelle left!
I walk down the hallway, around the corner, and down the basement stairs. I have to clean up from last night because by the time I finished watching movies, I was too tired to pick up everything. Some of the popcorn is gone. I don't want to say names but.. Cough, cough.. Gadget!
After cleaning up I walked back upstairs and ate breakfast. When I finish I go upstairs to my room and watch TV. Gadget peeks out from under my bed, as if checking to see if anybody else is here.
I KNEW YOU WERE TROUBLE WH–
(On the phone)
"Hello?"
"Hi Payton!"
Oh God. That voice only belongs to one person and one person only. Kiely.
"What do you want?"
"Oh, well I heard that you were flirting with MY boyfriend!"
"What boyfriend? Not a single boy at our school would even touch you with a ten foot pole!?"
"Josh! I know he was at your house last night!"
"Yeah. So?"
"Lay off! He's mine!"
"He hates you! He even told me after you and your sister, Kayley, left!"
"What? Your lying I know it! You want me to break up with him so that way he's free for the taking. But I'm not falling for it!"
"Ha! If he's YOUR boyfriend how come I got invited to HIS party instead of YOU!? Hmm?"
"What? What party?"
"Oh, uh. The one YOU weren't invited to."
I hanged up on her, feeling like I accomplished something amazing. And I did.
I picked up my phone again.
(Texting)
Heads up. There's a pink and frilly storm headed your way. To Josh.
Oh God. What did you do? :) From Josh.
I helped Kiely with her mental issues, that's what I did :) To Josh.
And what does this have to do with me? From Josh.
Oh well. Long story short. Kiely is convinced that she's your boyfriend, I want her to break up with you so that way I can ask you out, and she is going to have a talking with you because you didn't invite her to your party. :)

Time for volleyball practice! Yay! I've been so bored all day!
I pull on some sweatpants over my Spandex. I fill a water bottle with water and grab my volleyball shoes.
"Dad! I'm walking to the high school with Abby!" I yell down the hallway.
"Ok! Do you want me to pick you two up later?" He replies.
"Sure, practice ends at 7:30." I say while walking or the door.
"Ok."
I walk across the street and into Abby's house.
"Oh Payton I forgot to tell you, Abby isn't feeling to well so she can't go to practice tonight." Says Diane (Abby's mom).
"Oh ok." I say.
I walk out the door and towards the high school.
When I'm about halfway there I hear a rustling in the bushes a few feet back. I turn around to see if there's anybody behind me.
Nope. Just an empty sidewalk.
I hear it again, but closer. I start getting scared and walk faster.
It's starting to sound like footsteps now. I don't look behind me. I walk a little faster now.
They're getting closer.
I feel a cold hand on my shoulder and I scream. They turn me around and I see who it is. Evan.
"Jesus! You scared me!" I say while throwing a weak punch at his arm.
"Sorry I didn't mean to. I was saying your name trying to get your attention." He says.
"Oh I never heard a voice."
"Oh. So where are you going?" Evan asks.
"The high school. You?"
"Hockey rink." He pats the bag at his waist.
"Oh yeah I forgot you had practice tonight, Josh told me earlier but I forgot."
"Oh, so now your dating Josh? When did this happen?"
"I'm not dating him!" I say.
"We're just friends.."
"Oh I see." He gives me a sly smile.
"What?"
"Nothing." He says.
We reach the high school and we say bye. I walk to the door and pull it open. I'm the last one here.
We practice for 2 hours, working on serving, setting, and hitting. Jamie is one of our best players and I'm SO jelly!
After we finish practice my dad comes and picks me up and we drive back home. I walk upstairs, pull on my pajamas and jump in bed. I fall asleep as soon as I pull my blanket over top of me. Good night!
