An early post, but still explains my thoughts, although it's maybe a bit harsher than I feel now.. There was a whole debacle at the time about rank and quotes and cliques etc blah blah ;)
I write to express the thoughts in my head, to let what's in out and about; not be led.
If I sought the approval of others this ain't the way, far better ways to be spending my day.
A 'like' is a bonus, a repost a prize but feel welcome to criticise. Improvement comes quicker through someone else's eyes.
Why be precious in this line of work, you may scare off a publisher that thinks you're a jerk.
It's a big bad world and there's little protection, remember even perfection can end in rejection.
So opussians stand firm and stand tall there's room on this app for one and for all
Write just for you and the chance to be heard, whether or not you're part of a herd.
If your rank stays still or even goes down, do not cry, do not frown. Remember my words: it's called rank cos it's rank.
