Heads up my friends for a little Burr history
We got married in greece, Gill and me
Forty friends and family watched us tie the knot
In the Greek midday sun, by Christ it was hot.
Mrs Burr and I had an island hop planned
For a wee honeymoon, making love in the sand
One day in, we missed the kids too much
Honeymoon ended to feel their touch.
That was the longest my kids haven't been by my side
So tonight Opussians in you I confide
I have my tutu, it really suits me
Fresh ice and cola with chilled Bacardi
A bottle of vino has already gone
I'm ready to sing a sad cowboy song
So here's my advance apology
If I step out of line, please forgive me.
I might say some stuff, funny or sad
Or something that makes me look a little bit mad
I feel the need to occupy my mind
Don't be alarmed by the posts that you find
I put this forewarning in a blog header
So you know not to label it 'for the shredder'
There might be the odd xfile for you to be sleuth
But this one is nothing but the complete truth
