Fantasy Novel News

I said a very long time ago that I was writing a fantasy novel. I haven't stopped writing that fantasy novel, just things keep getting in the way. Most predominately, school. :( But the wheels are back in motion, the creative juices are flowing and the light bulbs are lighting! That's not to say anything is going to happen quickly, but hopefully things will begin to happen soon. For you see, the wheels are slightly rusty, the creative juices are somewhat out of date, and most of the lightbulbs have blown. But oh well. I've been working a lot on the world and its history, but very little progress has been made on the story. I think I've written about three pages In three months. That's slower than George RR Martin! I do intend to write a page or two tomorrow, and the same the day after that, and then by a fortnight's time at the very most, have a chapter completed! That will be a happy feeling. Anyway, once that is done, and eighty odd pages are completed, you will be informed right away. Until then, I will be mostly doing that. :)

Follow me for wisdom, scholarly knowledge, reviews, stories, poems and the occasional bit of randomness. But no humour. I have no sense of humour. None at all. Jokes! :)

The Hard Part

The hardest part of writing poetry Is not making sure it all rhymes. It's not even checking your spelling, Nor being topical with the times.

Lost In A Sea Of Words

Writing is easy. Sometimes. You just sit down and let the words drip out of your mouth onto the paper (or computer). Sometimes they flow fast. Other times they slop out slowly.

I don't know what to write next for crazy kid, so I read through all of the different parts and I've decided that the last one will be good enough to be the end!.

Untitled, thank god.

I can't think of a title, how does one come up with that. Sum it up in just about 2 words and a tip-o-the-hat. My poems are complex, you see.

Writers Block

I have a great idea. So I begin to write. Get the first stanza. Then have a fight. I know the words. Hiding deep in my mind. But they don't come. I look to find. Writers block. Loud and proud.
