The hardest part of writing poetry
Is not making sure it all rhymes.
It's not even checking your spelling,
Nor being topical with the times.
No, the hardest part is syllables,
Getting the right amount on each line.
If you don't do this part correctly,
You can end up with an odd line that is far too long.

I can't think of a title, how does one come up with that. Sum it up in just about 2 words and a tip-o-the-hat. My poems are complex, you see.
Ok so I have writers block,. I cannot shift this feeling,. I look down at my paper,. My subconscious is reeling,. I know what I want to say,. But exactly how do I say it,. The plot is in my head,.
I've been sitting here an hour and the words won't come, Looking hard for inspiration, getting nothing done, So I grab a cup of tea thinking "soon man, soon", But my mind's still a blank and I start...
. Written words upon the page . My mind, a drain of ink . Seeing every sentence I chew up . I spit back down the sink . Every thought erodes the silence .
I wish I had the time. To write a perfect rhyme. Make a rhyme that's mine. Oh, I wish I had the time. I wish I had the hours. To write a verse with power. Make a verse that towers.

I said a very long time ago that I was writing a fantasy novel. I haven't stopped writing that fantasy novel, just things keep getting in the way. Most predominately, school.
Fuck just posted a poem that's now lost. Opuss said it was full up. I clicked post any way, Now my hard work has gone, puffed in to thin air. Little bit, very much miffed.
You missed putting a spelling error in the last line! This is so true, I always count the rhythm in my head, but sometimes I just can't find a word to fit!

@Nom Haha flattery usually works on me. I seem to remember a quote that goes something like, "Flattery is the kindest form of deceit". I can tell that you are genuine though, and it is very nice of you to think of me as a clever person. It is much appreciated π
@curiouscraig basically (I know it's an awful thing to say) the fact you can spell and don't confuse you're with your etc, suggested to me that you may have known the answer!
