Chapter Thirty Eight
Deadly Jealousy
Caden gulped and shivered. "Just stay by me okay?" he said in a serious tone. Naomi nodded. Caden went over to the door and opened it. "Hey Caden h-wait! Whats she doing here?" asked Serena. "Well first of all,hello to you too and she's here because she's my friend and I had to tell her something" replied Caden. Serena took a few steps inside his house and crossed her arms. Naomi went over to Caden. "I told her that you are a vampire" said Caden. Serena's eyes widen and yelled,"WHAT?" "Shes my best friend and I trust her" Caden said and smiled to Naomi. Naomi smiled back confidently. Serena's eyes were getting red. "Caden I need to talk to
you now" she said coldly.
They went into the kitchen,
"Caden why are you doing this to me?" Serena asked. "What? I just told her and she promised she won't tell anyone". Serena closed her eyes and sighed. "You always make me stress Caden". Caden frowned and said,"Well then I'll let you find someone else. Maybe he can make you more happy than I can". "Yeah maybe I will" and with that Serena left.
Caden sighed and racked his hair with his fingers. "You can find someone Caden. I mean you are one of the most cutest boys in the whole school " said Naomi. She sat next to him.
The next day,
Serena was walking down the sidewalk until she heard a whistle. She turned around and saw a handsome dude in a very nice car. "Going somewhere?" she looked at him and realized who it was. It was William. She went to school with him in sixth and seventh grade. She smiled and said,"To a party".
At the party in school,
Caden was enjoying his time until he saw Serena and William slow dancing. He felt angry. "What? She can't be dancing with him!" he thought. Soon realize he was jealous. Jealous? He was jealous of someone who would get hurt,disgusted,lied to,and most of all who would be broken into pieces? No,he wasn't. He was just heart broken.
Before Caden could think of anything else, a girl walked towards him. "Hi I'm Paula" she said. "I'm Caden" he replied. He quickly got his mind off Serena.
As Serena looked at Caden to see his jealous face again,she saw him talking to a girl. He looked so happy. It didn't look like he was trying to make her jealous, and if he did, he certainly forgot about it. She sighed. She looked at William. His ocean blue eyes was the thing she liked about him but she not only liked but loved everything about Caden.
By the end of the night,
"Will you drive me home? I got in my friend's car but I think she left me" said Paula. "Of course I can" he replied. He opened the door for her and closed it. He got in his driver seat. He looked in Paula's brown eyes. She was really pretty but Serena was drop dead gorgeous. "You look lovely by the way" he said. Paula blushed. "Why thank you". Little did they know that Serena was watching them and she was up to no good.
