Me and you, forever and always.
That's how it was meant to be.
It wasn't meant to end like this,
So quickly and suddenly.

We had some good times, you and me.
We wished they would never end.
Not knowing that your darkest hour,
Lay just around the bend.

The day you vanished was horrible,
It shook me to the core.
When I found out that you were dead,
My heart broke once more.

I look around this mourning room,
Their hearts will never mend.

On this fateful day
