I search for my best friend Lucy. She hasn't really had her heart broken, she broke some bodies heart, but she's my best friend. She'll give me comfort, that's what friends are for. I wasn't sure where abouts she was to be honest, but I looked in the most obvious places. Finally I found her in the girls toilets with her other friends, Katrina, Lea and Amelia, applying Mascara and eye liner. Recently she's been all over makeup and hair straighteners ad boys. I don't care, she will always be there for me, ditto for her, no matter what. Friends don't just walk off and leave because of different tastes let alone best friends.
My heart was melting and my head was full of mixed emotions, so all I needed was a shoulder to lean on. Who better than Lucy's?
"Hiya, Lucy, I need to talk," I said, approaching her.
"Hang on, Jo," She uttered, her chin up and eyes wide open, improving her flick of the eyeliner.
"Sorry about that. Anyway yeah?" she continued.
"Privately," I said.
She flung her blonde bob-cut over her shoulders to reach down and get a black glossy hand bag. It was meant to be a school bag. I smile at her un-certainly as we walked outside.
