Okay so. I wake up seeing numerous Opussians have left due to rank and copyright and la dee da. I understand that stealing others work is awful as someone else has worked long and hard on it while someone has just took it, but wouldn't it be okay if it had the original authors name? Or said something like "Inspired by _______" ? I really don't care about ranks. It just shows how many people come with attention. I do care about my followers, as I see each as someone helping me in the artistic world. Perhaps Opuss could make a category where we could share lyrics and poems and quotes and what not that we like with other people? I don't know. But I do know that many things have start to occur recently.

No its not ok to just put the authors name some of her work was copied out from the net. Plagerism is illegal end of. Its not about ranking. She was my best mate she bloody lied to me .... I couldnt careless whether she was rank 1 or 1000 PLAGERISM is WRONG
@iPuss Completely agree. People seem to be missing the point here. I cannot believe people are just happy to bury their heads in the sand. The person who so many looked up to & was ranked No.1 on the basis of what we thought was her own work, should never have been allowed to remain there & continue in such a brazen fashion, once the plagiarism had been raised with the bosses. And for the record? There were far more than a couple of pieces copied...So here's the thing, if a rival app to Opuss was launched & you joined, only to find that the top spot author had work that was copied from YOU-how would you feel? Any criticism aimed at @smellyfingers is deplorable-he simply raised a valid issue. It's a writing app & there's no place for plagiarism😔
