Beyond The Veil

Death, looming, the ominous sight,
Howling screams all through the night,

Shouting, searching, calling my name,
But I shall not play death's twisted game,

Hooded figure, pure darkness, cloaked,
The beating drums, in blood they are soaked,

Thud, thud, this noise in my head,
One day it will end me, and the floors will run red,

Shadow in the mirror, writing on the wall,
Hole in the floor, too close and you will fall,

Where all things end and angels weep,
Where darkness through all doors does seep,

Cross over, death calls for you,
Keep your cool and sanity true,

It will follow you till your dying day,
It shall haunt you, till you pass away,

Sadness forever, dark, grim and cold,
He will find you, and take away your soul.
