In My Sleep

Sleep doesn't bring dreams to me,
Remembrance never dies,
Nightmares never a mystery,
Awake as I try,

Sleep brings no strength to me,
Raising from your tomb,
With the darkest imagery,
Only deepen my eternal gloom,

Sleep brings no peace to me,
The shadows of the dead,
My eyes seem to always see,
Surrounding around my bed,

Sleep only brings the threat,
My racing heart hiding beneath,
My only wish is too forget,
In my endless sleep of death.
