Preparing For Proms (Entry 6)

Dear Diary,

OMG!! Today was thrilling. First.. Let me tell you about yesterday...
Your probably wondering about the date..
Here it goes.....

Mum was already in the car..
"Mum.. What are you doing?"
"Dropping you off!"
"Noooo!!! Ryan will think I'm weird. He'll think I'm a baby or something! I can walk tithe bus stop by myself! Don't worry!"
"But your.. MY BABY!"
"Mum.. Cut it out! I'm old enough to look after myself!"

My puppy dog eyes made all the words. One glance and you would be in tears!
"Ok fine! But get that dog of your face!"
I laugh and start to walk to the other side of the road.
"Have you got your phone?"
"Of course I do Mum!"
It was 11:58.
2 MINUTES!! I don't want to be late!
I race across the street and take the next left.
There as CUTE as ever.. My movie star!!!
I casually walk over.
Waving I approach him and he gives me a hug.
I blush and turn away.
"Are you alright?"
"Yeah.. Just a bit nervous! I reply.
He gently grabs my hand and walks West. Slowly tugging me along.
"Where are we going?"
"You'll see!"
We was edging closer towards the park than anywhere else.
"We're.. We're going to THE PARK?"
Ryan nods his head.
"I wanted to show you something!"
He makes me close my eyes and he hugs me close towards him.
I can feel his heart beating on my back.
Suddenly he let's go, I feel a chill run through my bones.
"Here! It's a bit chilly down here."
He wraps his leather jacket around me.
I explore the new place. It was a area in the park; where not many people go. It used to be the children's playing centre. But no-one used it so they blocked it off for building. They were. 'going' to build a house there. But they haven't even starts yet- 1 year later.
There was trees everywhere. A log behind me looked like a chair. I say down on it. It was smooth and relaxing.
I realise Ryan has no where to sit.
"Oh sorry... You can sit there!"
"No.. You sit down!"
"No you should!"
"YOU!"
Finally Ryan sat down.
BUT... He pulled me onto his lap!!!!!?!????
OMG!!
"Are you sure? I'm heavy you know!"
"Your as light as a feather!"
I giggle and my cheeks turn red.
"I really like you!"
"REALLY?" I'm astounded.
"Your sweet! Funny! Talented! Cute! Gorgeous! You don't flirt!"
I grin happily.
"I.. I.. I like you too!" I stammer.
He wraps his arms around my back and slowly pulls me closer to him.
I close my eyes. Ready for my first EVER kiss!
BOOM!
"I think it's lightning! We better go!"
We hurry back to the bus stop.
"Thanks Ryan... For today.. Maybe some other time?"
"I'd love to do this again!"
He plants a quick kiss on my cheek and runs South. Getting soaked in the rain.
I skip North and back home.
"Have fun?!" Mum asked.
"Hmm!"
I race upstairs and find out I still had his jacket on.
I went to bed yesterday hugging his jacket.
I can't write much more cause I have to go.. But I'll briefly talk about today.
Ryan asked me in school if I could meet him at the bus stop. Again.. But this time he said he was taking me to the mall.
I'm sure he's going to buy me something!! I told Sophie and Mackenzie all about yesterday.
They reckon he likes me. REALLY likes me!!
I hope so!!
