Spotless

Do you ever wish
You could have a blank page?
Fresh and white and clean,
Pure
Spotless
Blotless, each stain removed
Sinking back into the parchment it had spoiled.
Each cruel thought, word, deed
Rubbed free from the conscience
It had gripped and tormented,
Absorbed into nothingness
Some unknown, sponge
Sodden, soiled with transgressions
Then rinsed, faultless once more
The filth of the soul removed
Forgotten
Vanished.
Do you ever wish
Hope
Dream
For a blank page?

Foregone Conclusion

The finer components of eloquence have always eluded me,. And laughably so as I soon came to see,. And never yet have I managed to hold in my hand, a beautiful sunbeam or a fine grain of sand,.

Remember

Remember what it was like. To live among the light. To bask in its brightness. To feel all its might. Remember how it felt. For your ice cream to melt. And the hand you was dealt.

One

I lay back staring at the sky. Hints of grey & blue in between thousands of clouds, all different shapes & sizes, all being taken along on the wind.
