Chapter 59
Me and James walked in silence. I did not want him to leave. Another fight with John was too dangerous. I didn't want to lose James.
" when are you going to meet". I asked as we got back to our room. It was 18.00 and I was a bit tiered after the trip. The bed looked tempting but James was the person on my mind.
" I want you to sleep. And when you wake up I will be laying next to yo. He said as he hugged me.
I pulled back and have him a questioning look. But he already read my mind.
" no Alice I won't come back as I did last time. And I will have someone with me". He said as he looked me in the eyes.
" who?". I asked as he walked and sat on the bed.
" an angel named chris, he has a higher rank as an angel so he is slightly stronger than me and demons don't like him". He said as he looked at the spot next to him. He wanted me to sit there.
I sat next to him, but not too close. I wanted to, but I couldn't cause I would only want to make out with him.
" why are they afraid of Chris?". Endless road of questions. That's what I could describe my mind with.
" he can decide if demons stay on earth or not". He answered and smiled afterwards.
" don't worry. Everything will be fine". He said it and I doubted that, yet a part of me believed it.
Jet lag. That's my only explanation, after he said that he hugged me while I had my head on his shoulder. I closed my eyes to remember him, us and everything.
But when I woke up it was dark. The sky was lighten by stars and I was alone in the room, wide awake.
